MOTORCYCLE OPERATORS ENDORSE SENATOR SOLOMON ADEOLA (YAYI) FOR OGUN GOVERNOR

The Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria (MOUN), together with the Riders and Owners of Motorcycle Organisation (ROMO), Ogun State, has endorsed Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as its preferred candidate for Governor of Ogun State in the 2027 election.

The endorsement was announced by the National President of MOUN and Chairman of ROMO Ogun State, Dr Rasak Sotayo Olusola (Solebo), on behalf of the union's members across the state.
Solebo described Senator Adeola as a leader who carries the people along, one with the capacity and the grassroots understanding to move Ogun State forward, and a friend to the ordinary working man.

"We want a governor who remembers the man on the bike, not only when the road is blocked, but when decisions are being made," Solebo said. "We believe Senator Adeola will treat transport workers as partners in progress, and that is why the riders are standing with him."
He noted that motorcycle operators are among the largest bodies of working people in Ogun State, carrying traders, students, workers and market women from place to place every day. He said this daily service to the economy, and the sheer number of riders across the state, gives the union a legitimate and weighty voice at the ballot.

Solebo called on riders in every part of Ogun State to give Senator Adeola their full support in 2027. He urged all members to remain peaceful, law-abiding and united throughout the political season, and reaffirmed the union's commitment to safety and orderly conduct on the roads. He wished the senator well in his aspiration.
