The Ogun State Police Command states that the written examination for Police Constable applicants commenced today, April 28th, 2026, at the Police College of Information Technology (PCIT), Kobape, Abeokuta.  The exercise will run through April 30th, 2026, marking a critical phase for candidates who successfully passed the earlier screening stages. The Command reassures the public and applicants of its commitment to a transparent, credible, and orderly process throughout the examination period. All candidates are advised to arrive early at the venue, dressed in the approved attire of white shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas, and must present their printed invitation cards alongside their NIN slips for verification. The Kebbi State Police Command categorically refutes reports alleging unlawful detention of Engr Sufiyanu Bala of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State. For clarity, Engr. Sufiyanu Bala is in Police custody strictly in compliance with a valid remand order issued by the Chief Magistrate Court Birnin Kebbi, directing his remand pending his appearance before the Court on Monday 27th April, 2026 for further proceedings.
