OGUN STATE AMOTEKUN CORPS COMMENCES 2026 RECRUITMENT SCREENING EXERCISE

The Ogun State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps is currently conducting its Screening Exercise for eligible applicants from across the State seeking gainful employment with the  Agency.
Seasoned and experienced personnel from the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police, Department of State Services and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, respectively, have been engaged by the Corps to serve as Consultants at the Exercise with a view to engendering transparency, fairness, as well as ensuring that only the best and most qualified applicants are ultimately recruited into the Ogun State Amotekun Corps fold.
The Exercise, which commenced on Monday, 18th May, 2026 is being held at designated Centres across the State, with each of the venues witnessing an impressive turnout of applicants. 
The final stretch of the Exercise, which commenced at the Abeokuta Centre today, Thursday, 4th June, 2026, is expected to come to an end on Saturday, 6th June, 2026, with applicants drawn from Abeokuta South, Odeda, Ewekoro and Obafemi-Owode LGAs, respectively, expected to partake in the process.

OYO STATE POLICE COMMAND DISMISSES RUMOURS OF CURFEW AND MOVEMENT RESTRICTIONS IN IBADAN

The Oyo State Police Command wishes to categorically state that there is currently no curfew or restriction placed on the movement of persons or vehicles within or outside Ibadan, contrary to reports circulating in some quarters. The Command unequivocally assures residents and the general public that there are no security concerns warranting panic or apprehension.  Adequate security measures have been put in place, as officers and operatives of the Command have been strategically deployed across the state to ensure the safety and security of all citizens and residents.
