BREAKING: ONIPOKIA OF IPOKIA, OBA YISA SOLA ADENIYI OLANIYAN, DIES IN THE UNITED STATES AFTER A THROAT SURGERY.

The ancient town of Ipokia in Ogun State has been thrown into mourning following the passing of its first-class traditional ruler, Oba Yisa Sola Adeniyi Olaniyan (Orijajoogun I), the Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom. 
The revered monarch reportedly died in the United States after a brief illness. 
His death marks the end of a reign remembered for promoting cultural heritage, peace, community development and stronger engagement with Nigerians in the diaspora.

Further details, including funeral arrangements and traditional rites, are expected to be announced by the palace.
