OGUN POLICE COMMAND ORDERS IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION INTO INCIDENT INVOLVING OGITECH STUDENTS




The Ogun State Police Command is aware of an incident which occurred this night involving some students of the Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, and officers attached to Igbesa Division.

The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, psc, FCSS, MNIPR, has ordered an immediate and comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The Command assures the public that the matter is receiving prompt attention and that due process will be strictly followed to establish the facts. 
Where any misconduct is established, appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken in line with extant regulations.

The Ogun State Police Command remains committed to professionalism, discipline, and respect for the rights of all residents, including students. 

In this regard, students of the institution and the wider student community are strongly urged to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding while the investigation is ongoing.

The Command further assures that justice will be pursued without compromise, and the outcome of the investigation will be communicated in due course.
