NO AGENCY CAN DO IT ALONE: IGP DISU DECLARES AS HE MAKES HISTORIC VISIT TO THE NSCDC

In a landmark demonstration of inter-agency unity, the Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, today paid a historic courtesy visit to the National Headquarters of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, reinforcing the urgent need for collective action in addressing Nigeria’s security challenges.

The visit, hosted by the Commandant General of the NSCDC, professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi min OFR, highlighted the Corps’ critical role within the nation’s internal security framework and opened fresh discussions on deeper collaboration, intelligence sharing, and coordinated operations among security agencies.
Both leaders emphasized that no single agency can secure the nation alone, stressing that unity of purpose, shared responsibility, and stronger inter-agency cooperation are essential to achieving lasting peace and stability.

The engagement concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthen existing partnerships, with both agencies pledging closer collaboration in the collective effort to safeguard Nigeria.
