‎POLICE ARREST THREE KIDNAPPING SUSPECTS, RECOVER LOCALLY MADE WEAPONS‎


‎In line with the intelligence-led policing strategy of the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D, NPM, detectives of the Kebbi State Police Command acted on credible information about a suspicious individual at Bagudo Market. This led to the arrest of three suspects; Abubakar Muhammadu, Abdullahi Majo and Ali Alhaji Jemu and the recovery of two locally made firearms, a cartridge and three machetes.
‎The suspects have been linked to a previous kidnapping incident in Bani Koso Village, Shanga Local Government Area, where a 55-year-old man was abducted from his residence.
‎The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Birnin Kebbi, under the directive of Commissioner of Police, Umar Mohammed Hadejia, psc, MNIM, and the suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of the investigation.
