KEBBI GOVERNOR, SECURITY CHIEFS, AND TRADITIONAL RULERS HONOURS CP BELLO M. SANI AS HE BOWS OUT OF SERVICE IN GRAND STYLE AFTER 34 YEARS OF SERVICE
A dignitary-filled sendforth ceremony was held today at the Police Headquarters, Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi, in honour of the retiring Commissioner of Police, Bello M. Sani, psc, who bows out of the Nigeria Police Force after 34 years of distinguished service.
The Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), was represented by the Commissioner of Internal Security, Alh. Halilu Aliyu Wasagu. Also in attendance were the AIG Zone 10, represented by the DC DFA of Zonal Headquarters; the Chief Judge of Kebbi State; the Grand Khadi; the Emirs of Gwandu and Yauri; the Commissioners of Information, Lands, and Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; heads of all security agencies in the state; the Director of Public Prosecutions; and chairmen of the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigeria Union of Journalists, and the Police Community Relations Committee, among other dignitaries.
In their remarks, the dignitaries celebrated CP Bello M. Sani's exemplary career, highlighting his dedication, professionalism, and significant contributions to security and community policing in Kebbi State.
They praised his leadership and wished him well in his retirement.
The ceremony featured tributes, the presentation of plaques, and a farewell speech by the retiring Commissioner, who expressed gratitude to the government, the police force, and the people of Kebbi State for their support throughout his service.
