IPAJA POLICE DIVISIONAL HEADQUARTERS CELEBRATES NEW YEAR THANKSGIVING


The Ipaja Police Divisional Headquarters under the Area M Command of the Lagos State Police Command has celebrated it's new thanksgiving party,which is a first of its kind in any division in Lagos State.
The event which had the presence of Community inhabitants and other Stakeholders from the royalty, political class, business class,the clergy and top security officers was well attended.
Top personalities Present at the occasion includes the Olu of Ipaja kingdom Oba Alani Egundupe,Olori Odo of Ipaja kingdom, Balogun of Ipaja kingdom,Seriki of Shasha kingdom,Galadinma of Shasha kingdom Suleiman Haruna, chairman of Ipaja Ayobo LCDA Hon.Lukman Abiodun Agbaje, Chairperson Mosan Okunola LCDA Hon.Adunni Opeyemi, Hon.Adebayo Faruk leader ipaja Ayobo LCDA,Hon.Ajose Chief of staff ipaja Ayobo LCDA,Hon.Afuwape, ACP Tokunbo Abaniwonda Area Commander Area M Command, ACP Shola  Omilani, CSP Lukman Lawal (Representing Area Commander Area P) Members of the PCRC Ipaja Police Divisional Headquarters,e.t.c.
The highpoint of the event is the presentation of awards to the Area commander Area M Command ACP Tokunbo Abaniwonda for her support to the Division over the years,sack race competition between different departments of the Division where the winner carted home the sum of 20,000 naira,there was also a surprise performance from one of Nigeria's finest artistes OritsheFemi who brought down the roof of the event.
Speaking at the event, the DPO of the Division CSP Hauwa Idris Adamu reeled out some of her achievement since the assumption of office which includes the acquisitions of 3 Mini buses and 1 Toyota Hilux for patrol of the entire division, Recovery of unauthorized and illegal firearms,the curbing of violent crimes and criminalities within ipaja,welfare of officers, maintenance of law and order, operational efficiency, Community engagement,data driven decision making,e.t.c.
Concluding,she called for more support from everyone within the Division and from the community,so as to continue to churn out excellent results and performance.
She thanked everyone and all the stakeholders for rendering their support and making the event a success.
