IFO LOCAL GOVT CHAIRMAN PRESENT 2025 BUDGET

*IFO LG CHAIRMAN, HON. KUSIMO, UNVEILS* *N11.8 BILLION 2025 BUDGET OF EXCELLENCE* 

The Executive Chairman of Ifo Local Government, Hon. Idris Olalekan Kusimo, confidently presented a proposed N11.8 billion budget for the 2025 fiscal year to the Legislative Council, seeking their approval. This ambitious "Budget of Excellence" was revealed during a plenary session held at the Council Secretariat on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

In his compelling address, Hon. Kusimo expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for the invaluable opportunity to serve his constituents. He underscored the budget's deeper significance, emphasizing that
it transcends mere figures; it embodies our collective values, strategic priorities, and a steadfast commitment to excellence in governance.

This balanced budget, totaling N11,890,831,663.17 (Eleven Billion, Eight Hundred and Ninety Million, Eight Hundred and Thirty-One Thousand, Six Hundred and Sixty-Three Naira, Seventeen Kobo), effectively aligns projected revenues with expenditures, showcasing a well-planned financial strategy.

Hon. Samuel Bamgboye, Leader of the Legislative Council, voiced his colleagues’ pledge to conduct a thorough review and expedite deliberations for swift passage, reaffirming the Council’s commitment to fiscal responsibility.

The event was attended by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Abibat Ojo; Secretary to the Local Government, Mrs. Temitope Adegboyega; Supervisors; Special Advisers; Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Fatai Ogundele; along with Directors and Heads of Departments, all united in support of this strategic initiative.
